I saw the 1952 movie "Othello" starring and directed by Orson Welles.
The image is bright and clear. The location is Morocco. The screen shows the excitement of the heyday of movies and the excitement of the past.
Silent movies are the most interesting. German film from 1922. Directed by Dmitri Buchowetzki. I have never seen this before.
Verdi's opera is recommended. Vivid impression. Othello is tenor and Iago is baritone, dramatic!(^^)!
